These two excerpts are the best articles I've seen yet on the Antoin Rezko trial.  And yet there is still vital information being kept from the public.  Why?  Where is the media?

Nadhmi Auchi co-conspired with fellow Baathist Saddam Hussein in 1959 to assassinate then Prime Minister Abd al-Karim Qasim.  Rezko and Obama are both financially connected to him.

The media is barely reporting that Antoin Rezko's money man and "close friend" is London based Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi who is one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the corporate, banking, political and real estate world. It is Nadhmi Auchi who funded Antoin Rezko. Nadhmi Auchi wired 3.5 million dollars to Rezko weeks before Barack Obama and Antoin Rezko made that controversial land deal. Nadhmi Auchi wired another 3.5 million from a Lebanon bank to Rezko at the beginning of his trial. When the authorities found out, he had to stay in custody for his portion of the trial because they thought he was a flight risk.

Nadhmi Auchi owns a great deal of real estate in Chicago and is reported to collect politicians like some people collect stamps.

Nadhmi Auchi was shown to be heavily involved in the Oil for Food scandal involving millions in kick backs. He wants to appeal.

Nadhmi Auchi has been called a global arms dealer who is banned from entering the USA.

Auchi stood trial with fellow Baathist Saddam Hussein in 1959 for conspiring to assassinate then Prime Minister Abd al-Karim Qasim. Some articles say Auchi's charges were later dropped--by Qasim.  Qasim was later assassinated anyway. 

Auchi financially backed Saddam Hussein's plan for an oil pipeline from Iraq to Saudi Arabia.

Saddam Hussein had Auchi's own brother (or two brothers) murdered. But that did not deter their business dealings or friendship.

Rezko backed other politicians. Was it with Auchi's money?
